The BC Muslim Association (BCMA) is seeking to hire a receptionist / Administrative assistant for BC Muslim School in Richmond BC.

About the Role: The receptionist / Administrative assistant will be a valuable member of the school Administration Team and will provide support to internal (principal, teachers and other staff) and main point of contact for current enrolled student parents with exceptional service in an efficient and professional manner. This role will not only include Receptionist duties but will complete administrative projects as assigned from the Principal and Administrator therefore previous administrative experience in required. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for school so we are looking for someone who is friendly, energetic, and understands the importance of the role.
Responsibilities Include:

Answer and direct incoming phone calls as required.

Update record on MyEducation BC Student Information System.

Co-ordinate with parents regarding new and current admission.

Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and general emails.

Scheduling the meeting on request of parents with principal and teachers.

Perform some financial transactions, occasionally receive payment and handling cash.

Completing projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive.

Minimum 1 year administration experience.

Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

A passion to work with young kids and teenagers.

A reputation for exceptional work ethic and attitude.

Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work individually and in a team environment.

MyEducation BC experience / knowledge would be an asset.

First Aid training course.
This position is full time working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary & Benefits: Compensation commensurate with experience.
