Registration for Jomaa Salah is now opened

Assalaamu Alaykum dear community members,

 

BC government is easing restrictions on religious gatherings and worship services. Please, visit the government of BC province-wide restrictions website for more details: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/info/restrictions.

 

We are organizing 3 Jomaa Salah at 1:30 PM, 2:15 PM, and 2:45 PM by registration ONLY.

 

To reduce COVID-19 transmission:

- Before, during and after the service, people must not gather or socially engage. Congregants to leave immediately after Salah and pray Sunnah at home.

- Participants must be 1.2 meters apart unless they live in the same private residence.

- Masks are required at all times by everyone in attendance. 

- Bring your own prayers mat.

- Perform Wudu at home before coming to the Masjid.

 

You should NOT register for Jomaa Salah if any of the following is applicable to you:

1- You have any of the following new or worsening signs and symptoms and not related to a chronic or known causes or conditions: fever, chills, difficulty of breathing, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, troubling swallowing, Runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion, Decrease or loss of smell or taste, Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, Not feeling well, extreme tiredness, sore muscles.

2. You have travelled outside Canada in the past 14 days and/or been in close contact with anyone who has.

3. You had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19. Close contact means: being less than 2 meters away in the same room, workspace, or area for over 15min | Living in the same home.

4. You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

5. You have visited/worked in any locations during a time identified as a known potential COVID exposure.  

 

Brothers or sisters over 70 years old are strongly advised to stay home.
