Tour the Richmond Jamia Masjid on June 4-5 and connect with the diverse Muslim community of Richmond. Learn about the core beliefs and practices of mainstream Islam, including Ramadan and the two Eid celebrations, and meet members of the local Muslim community. Demonstrations of the Muslim Adhaan (Call to Prayer), congregational prayers, multi-media presentations, exhibits, and your name written in Islamic calligraphy art will also be offered.
The mosque will be open to the public and welcoming visitors on June 4–5 between 10am–5pm (we welcome drop-in visits anytime in between).
Please note that the congregational prayer time is between 1:30pm and 2pm.
Guests are reminded that they are visiting a religious facility so a modest dress attire would be kindly appreciated. Please be prepared to remove shoes if entering the carpeted prayer areas.
