The (BCMA) Victoria Branch is hosting a fundraising dinner for Masjid Al-Iman and Education Centre Capital project on Sunday, July 08th, 2012 at Crystal Banquet Hall in Surrey B.C. For more information, please CLICK
Update Report on Masjid Al-Iman and Education Centre Project
Project Start: February 6th, 2012
Projected Completion: November 1st, 2012
Duration of construction: 9 months.
Progress since April 25th:
-
Scheduled inspections conducted by Architect and Engineers.
-
Compaction tests & concrete test reports are with M. Kathrada for inclusion in his close out documents.
-
Elevator shaft and entrance way completed all the way to roofline.
-
Staircase structural steel completed
-
Roof work completed, perimeter roof flashing and caulking to do.
-
Sprinkler main service installed and tested.
-
Scaffold installed around building for stucco work & window installation.
-
Exterior rough graded.
-
All Catch Basins, OWS installed, tested and passed.
Milestones for June 1st week:
-
Dome & Minaret to be installed 1st week June, all framing & steel work completed.

Install sprinkler system
-
Window installation
-
Inside framing completion 1st week June.

Electrical wiring and box installation
-
Exterior doors.

8. Al-Anfal-Spoils of War, Booty (Madinah)

Abdullah ibne-Qurt Radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: On the Day of Judgement, the first thing a slave of Allah will be held accountable for is Salat. If it is found sound and satisfactory, the rest of his deeds will also be sound - and satisfactory, and if found corrupt and rotten, then the rest of his deeds will also be corrupt and rotten.
