I hope you are in the best of health and iman. The BC Muslim Association Board of Religious Services is pleased to announce that Eid al Fitr will be on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The Board was not able to verify any sighting of the crescent moon anywhere in the world on the 29th of Ramadan; therefore, the month of Ramadan will complete 30 days.
May Allah accept our fasting and qiyam and enable us to see the month of Ramadan again. I encourage the community to make the most of this last remaining night of Ramadan by engaging in the worship and remembrance of Allah.
Please refer to your local Masjid for Eid salah arrangements and respect Covid-19 restrictions.
