The B.C. Muslim Association (BCMA) is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Societies Act on November 17, 1966. The BCMA is currently the largest Muslim organization in the province representing 80,000+ Sunni Muslims. The Muslims in BC are experiencing exponential growth, from a population of 10,000 in 1980 to 80,000+ today. In 1980, there was only one location for Friday prayers in all of Vancouver and its surrounding suburbs. The BC Muslim EXTRA Program
|
|
BCMA Summer Day Camp is new innovative, educational and fun-filled initiative program by BCMA Board of Education (BoE) invites kids age 6 to 13 to join in Summer Adventure! The theme of each individual week will be learnt through a variety of exciting recreational activities, crafts and hands-on science experiments. Each week will include a field trip, water fun, organized games and sports activities.

The BC Muslim School Surrey
|

|
The Surrey Muslim School first opened in 1997 at Masjid Rahmah in Surrey with eleven
kindergarten students. As the school population grew, the school expanded and opened
a new Main Branch beside the Surrey Jamia Masjid in 2005. Currently, the school
operates Kindergarten, Grade One at Masjid Rahmah and Grades One to Seven at the Surrey Muslim
School main branch, adjoined to the Surrey Mosque.

Virtues of Wudu
The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said, “When a Muslim, or a believer, washes his face (in the course of Wudhu), every sin which he committed with his eyes, will be washed away from his face with water, or with the last drop of water; when he washes his hands, every sin which he committed by his hands will be effaced from his hands with the water, or with the last drop of water; and when he washes his feet, every sin his feet committed will be washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water; until he finally emerges cleansed of all his sins.” [Saheeh Muslim]
