Presidents Message - Ramadan Mubarak

11 Mar

Dear Members of the BC Muslim Association and Beloved Community,

AssalamualaikumWarahmatullahi Wabarakatu,

As we embark on the sacred journey of Ramadan, I extend heartfelt greetings to each and every one of you. This auspicious month holds profound significance in our lives, offering us a time of reflection, spiritual renewal, and immense blessings. It is a time when our hearts are filled with gratitude, our souls are uplifted in worship, and our bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood are strengthened.

For over five decades, the BC Muslim Association has been a beacon of faith, service,an d compassion in our community. From providing support from cradle to grave to extending a helping hand to those in need, our organization has remained steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and upholding the principles of Islam. This Ramadan, as we engage in fasting, prayer, and acts of worship, let us also remember our duty to our fellow human beings, both near and far. In the spirit of compassion and generosity, I urge each one of you to extend a helping hand to those less fortunate among us, especially those who have sought refuge in our country due to unrest in their homelands.

Let us continue to support them through our community zakat and sadaqah, ensuring that they are provided with the necessary resources and assistance to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Furthermore, I appeal to our community to donate generously to all branches and chapters of our organization, enabling us to fulfill our operational needs and continue our vital work in serving the community. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve and the sustainability of our organization.

Beyond our local community, let us also turn our gaze to the broader world and heed the call of compassion and mercy. In Gaza, where countless lives have been lost and countless more continue to suffer, let us stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters, offering our support and assistance in any way we can.

I implore you to donate generously towards relief efforts in Gaza and Palestine, extending a lifeline of hope to those in desperate need of assistance and support. In conclusion, as we enter this blessed month of Ramadan, let us strive to embody the spirit of compassion, generosity, and unity that defines our faith. May our fasting and prayers be accepted, and may our actions during this month be a source of blessings and mercy for all. Together, let us work towards a world where justice, peace, and dignity prevail for all of humanity. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Ramadan filled with peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment.

RamadanMubarak to everyone on behalf of me, my family and the entire Executive Council of The BC Muslim Association.

Jazak AllahKairan,

Sallamu AlaikumWa Rahmatullah
