Richmond Branch

Richmond Jamia Masjid was the first purpose-built mosque in British Columbia. The land was purchased in 1973 for $122,000 and was paid off in full the following year. The project officially kicked off on February 26, 1978, one month after obtaining the special land use permit from the City of Richmond.
